5052 Aluminium Sheet

Aluminium  /  Sheets & Plates

5052 Aluminium Sheet

5052 is the most widely used non-heat-treatable aluminium sheet alloy, alloyed with about 2.5% magnesium and a trace of chromium. It combines very good marine corrosion resistance with excellent formability and weldability, and work hardens predictably, which makes it ideal for pressed, folded and deep-drawn sheet metal work.

Sarovar Tube Industries manufactures, stocks and exports 5052 Aluminium Sheet from Mumbai to customers across the Middle East, South East Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas. Every heat is verified by in-house testing before despatch and supported by complete documentation, so the material you receive is exactly the material you specified.

Standard ASTM B209 / EN 485, UNS A95052
Equivalent Grades AA 5052, EN AW-5052, DIN 3.3523, AlMg2.5
Product Form Sheets
EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 Heat Traceable Tested In House Worldwide Despatch

Key Features

  • Excellent resistance to salt water and marine atmosphere
  • Outstanding formability for deep drawing and bending
  • Welds readily by MIG and TIG processes
  • Good fatigue strength for sheet metal assemblies
