Titanium Grade 2 is commercially pure titanium and the workhorse of the titanium family. It gives excellent corrosion resistance in seawater, chlorides and oxidising acids thanks to a self-repairing oxide film, combined with good ductility, formability and weldability. Roughly half the weight of steel, it is specified across desalination, chemical processing and marine engineering.
Sarovar Tube Industries manufactures, stocks and exports Titanium Grade 2 Plates from Mumbai to customers across the Middle East, South East Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas. Every heat is verified by in-house testing before despatch and supported by complete documentation, so the material you receive is exactly the material you specified.
The table below sets out the standard manufacturing range for Titanium Grade 2 Plates. Sizes and finishes outside this range are produced against firm orders.
