5083 Aluminium Plate

Aluminium  /  Sheets & Plates

5083 Aluminium Plate

5083 offers the highest strength of the non-heat-treatable aluminium alloys and retains it exceptionally well after welding. It is the standard plate alloy for shipbuilding and cryogenic vessels, keeping its toughness down to very low temperatures and resisting attack by seawater and industrial chemicals.

Sarovar Tube Industries manufactures, stocks and exports 5083 Aluminium Plate from Mumbai to customers across the Middle East, South East Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas. Every heat is verified by in-house testing before despatch and supported by complete documentation, so the material you receive is exactly the material you specified.

Standard ASTM B209 / EN 485, UNS A95083
Equivalent Grades AA 5083, EN AW-5083, DIN 3.3547, AlMg4.5Mn0.7
Product Form Sheets & Plates
EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2 Heat Traceable Tested In House Worldwide Despatch

Key Features

  • Highest strength of the non-heat-treatable alloys
