Alloy Steel P9 raises the chromium content to 9% with 1% molybdenum, giving markedly better oxidation and sulphidation resistance than the lower-chrome grades. It is the material of choice for refinery furnace tubes and high-temperature transfer lines that see aggressive service well beyond the limits of P5 and P11.
Sarovar Tube Industries manufactures, stocks and exports Alloy Steel P9 Seamless Pipes from Mumbai to customers across the Middle East, South East Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas. Every heat is verified by in-house testing before despatch and supported by complete documentation, so the material you receive is exactly the material you specified.
