Alloy Steel P5 is a 5% chromium - 0.5% molybdenum grade developed for elevated temperature service where sulphur-bearing hydrocarbons attack plain carbon steel. The chromium content builds a protective oxide film that resists high-temperature sulphidic corrosion, while molybdenum supplies creep strength, making P5 a staple of crude distillation and hydro-processing units.
Sarovar Tube Industries manufactures, stocks and exports Alloy Steel P5 Seamless Pipes from Mumbai to customers across the Middle East, South East Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas. Every heat is verified by in-house testing before despatch and supported by complete documentation, so the material you receive is exactly the material you specified.
